A 20+ year finance veteran, Adil’s legal and banking career included working at Linklaters and HSBC in Europe and the Middle East. Adil helped establish and run an award-winning, world-leading emerging markets debt platform by delivering sophisticated and innovative funding solutions for sovereigns, corporates and financial institutions. In a career where he has raised over $100bn for clients, he has always taken a hands-on approach in delivering for partners and institutional clients which led to a series of senior management roles within HSBC including latterly as Global Head of the Upstream Oil and Gas Debt business.

A graduate of King’s College London, Adil studied law with European law.

A senior investment banking professional with more than 15 years experience advising Energy and Natural Resources companies, Max has spent his career focussing on strategic advisory assignments, acquisition led financing for upstream companies and capital markets financing for energy companies. His experience extends across the conventional energy value chain (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream and Oilfield Services) as well as new energy such as hydrogen.

Max has previously worked at HSBC and Macquarie. He holds a MSc Metals & Energy Finance from Imperial College and a BSc Business Studies and Finance from Bayes Business School.

As a senior energy advisor of 30 years’ experience, Paul has advised on some of the world’s largest and most complex oil and gas transaction valued in excess of $200bn. Paul has unparalleled global experience across the value chain in M&A, equity and debt financings. He has consistently delivered optimal client solutions as Head EMEA Oil and Gas at HSBC, Head EMEA Oil and Gas at Macquarie, and during his 14 years with Citi’s Energy Group. Prior to entering banking, Paul was a Petroleum Engineer at Haliburton.
